The installation “Hope for tomorrow” refers to how we are so used to consume images. Images of war, of which women are often the first victims, are brought into our daily lives as a normal news item.
The installation consists of a ticket dispenser and three etchings. The three etchings picture three giant tickets, their huge sizes (75cm x 112cm)prevent us to throw them away, to consume without reflection.
Enriched by an image of the sky, a sign of hope, freedom, dedicated to all women in the world whom are living their lives without piece and especially to all those courageous woman in the East of the DR Congo.
Installation: 1 ticket dispenser with 3 engravings (etching and aquatint on copper and polymer on copper and plastic).
